Screw connection system

The rising clamp design applies indirect pressure on the wire via the screw and clamping yoke, thus pressing the wire against the busbar (soldering lug). The required contact force is generated by the torque applied to the screw. This system provides a gas-tight vibration-proof connection between the conductor and the internal busbar. This creates increasing thread friction and results automatically in a stronger grip on the conductor. The increased torque is generated by an elastic distortion of the terminal body.
